BTR-51163-4 is a direct OEM quality replacement M6x1x19 Multi-Purpose Bolt set (quantity - 4, 1 kit required per engine) primarily used as valve lifter guide retainer bolts for General Motors LS-series engines.

Thread Size: M6 x 1.0 metric
Under-Head Length (UHL): 19.0 mm (0.75 inches)
Thread Length: 13.0 mm
Material & Grade: Heat-hardened Grade 10.9 steel
Head Type: Hex head flanged (requires a 10 mm socket)

Application & Design:

Engine Fitment: Compatible with GM LS and Vortec V8 engines (1997–2014), including sizes 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and 7.0L.
Function: Secures the plastic lifter guide trays (retainers) in the engine block.
Design Feature: Features a specialized bullet-shaped nose and a locator under the head to center and align the lifter tray properly.
