The Competition Clutch Stage 1 clutch kit is an affordable upgrade for mildly modified cars or stock engines that are driven hard. It delivers roughly 40 to 50 percent more torque capacity than stock while keeping a stock-like pedal feel for comfortable street driving. The kit combines a Competition Clutch performance pressure plate with a high-torque 6-pad ceramic disc where applicable. Stage 1 kits are meant for naturally aspirated engines and are not recommended for turbocharged, supercharged or nitrous-equipped vehicles.
