Excessive heat kills transmission life: as temperature rises, fluid viscosity drops and the film protecting gears and bearings weakens. Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 heat-treated aluminum, the PPE heavy-duty transmission pan adds fluid capacity for better heat management. Deep external cooling fins dissipate heat and add impact resistance, and internal baffles improve heat transfer and reduce sloshing; together they form a stiff cross-bracing structure. Cast-in gussets support the housing flange, and a 304 stainless drain plug with a high-temperature neodymium magnet captures ferrous particles. Each pan is paired with a PPE MicroPure spin-on transmission fluid filter.
