Pow-R-Surge Gel Power batteries use gelled electrolyte for some of the deepest cycling performance in the RV and marine market. The gel absorbs shock to resist vibration damage and protect the plates during very deep discharges, and the maintenance-free, never-add-water, no-spill design is ideal for hard-to-reach installations. Pow-R-Surge batteries are made in the USA by East Penn Manufacturing, in the world's largest single-site battery plant, with more than 250 quality control checks built into the line.

Part number 8G8D is a BCI Group 8D battery with 1150 cold cranking amps and 475 minutes of reserve capacity.
