It comes with an additional Full HD interior camera that expands your coverage to monitor inside your cabin. You can even add a third cam by switching to 2K mode.
For 24/7 surveillance, the M8 Max's ECO Parking Mode uses radar to detect motion — using radar to detect motion while pulling 90% less current than standard setups. When movement is detected, the system activates and begins recording, offering efficient surveillance without significantly draining your car battery. Built-in GPS and speed-logging back up your footage with hard data, which insurance companies love when it's time to prove what really happened.

The M8 Max dash cam works with the free Momento app, which is compatible with Android and Apple phones. With the app, you can download footage, get a live view from the car, and wirelessly install firmware updates for your dash cam as soon as they come out. A 64 GB microSD card physically backs up the footage as well. This is a great feature, as many companies require a subscription for full coverage or live-view monitoring.
